L3 BAMBOO VISCOSE FIBER

Processed mostly in China, this fiber is commonly and wrongly known as "natural bamboo" fiber. This term is not correct at all. Based on so called bamboo cellulose, this fiber is simply regenerated like any other viscose fiber. It's properties are certainly unique and well regarded. However, the fashion industry is not convinced about its quality. Neither are we. Litrax supports the idea of combining ecologic viscose, such as Lenzing's tencel or lyocell, and Litrax L1 Natural Bamboo Fibers.

In summer, bamboo viscose typically keeps you cool and won't stick on your body like cotton. However it soaks humidity considerably. It is ideal for the northern hemisphere. For Asian climates (humid), we strongly suggest to blend bamboo viscose with polyester for enhanced sweat outwork and excellent breathability during in- and outdoor sports activities.

It is claimed on some websites that bamboo viscose fiber has "anti-bacterial" effects. We have not found any such evidence and would advise you to specifically ask for detailed certified proof (by an independent test authority) of such antibacterial property from the party claiming it.
